Description

The Simulation page for individual jurisdictions presents the Cumulative Net Fiscal Impacts for a selected locality. The gauge used on this page has two needles: the first one represents the Operating Budget (Yellow Needle), and the second one represents the Capital Budget (Blue Needle). The red portion of the gauge represents the net negative fiscal deficit whereas the green portion represents the net positive fiscal impact. The exact values of the fiscal impacts are displayed at the bottom of the gauge as the simulation is being run. The year of the simulation is shown on the right side of the page to keep track of the cumulative fiscal impacts on an annual basis.

The default simulation is set to only account for growth. Using the button box on the right side of the page, the simulation can be changed to account for existing demand (in terms of deficiency or surplus of existing services) and future growth.
