Description

Through this page, the user can navigate to view the modules and analyze the impacts of altering the Level of Service (LOS) for a jurisdiction. Capital costs for libraries, parks, police/sheriff, and roads are calculated in separate modules from where the user can modify the adopted levels of service options for the county and the cities.

Each capital cost page consists of a slider bar for modifying the LOS standards and to view their impact on the financial feasibility of the comprehensive plan. After modifying the level of service standards, the user has to go back to the Simulation page through the link provided at the top of the page to run the simulation. The simulation must be reset to the starting position by using the Reset tool on the presentation toolbar before changing the LOS option for any of the heads mentioned above.

Note: Every time the simulation is reset, all the variables are restored to their original value. The user would have to repeat the changes made in the previous simulation to ensure that the variables that he/she intends to change represent the new values.
