Description

The annual operating costs for Hillsborough County are consolidated into five categories:

• Departmental Costs

• Nondepartmental Costs

• Governments & Agencies Costs

• Nonprofit Costs

• Other Costs

The annual sum as well as the cumulative sum for each category is calculated in separate modules. In these modules, consolidated data under each of these heads (Departmental Costs, Nondepartmental Costs, etc.) is imported from spreadsheets and then reformatted to an appropriate structure as required by the model. This process is explained under the Departmental Operating Costs section of this manual.

On this page, both annual costs and cumulative costs for each category are brought in under the auxiliary Hillsborough County Operating Expenditures, and added together to get annual and cumulative operating costs under the Hillsborough County Operating Expenditure.
