Over the past few months, we have been in the process of documenting the FIELD model. The content under this section comes straight out of the FIELD Model User Manual so that users can gain an understanding of the model's structure, the assumptions used to assess impacts, and the relationships and equations used among variables.  In addition, the User Manual illustrates the steps involved in running the simulation, changing policy options, and analyzing the fiscal impact results.

This manual describes the operations that a user has to perform in order to simulate the fiscal impacts for Hillsborough County, Plant City, Tampa, Temple Terrace, and the Hillsborough County School Board. The FIELD model uses individual modules for its subcomponents, which is explained in detail under this section.
